Ted Rippe was the youngest child of Henry and Catherine Rippe. He was born in Fillmore County, Nebraska on 20 May 1904. He married Alda Gewecke on 19 October 1927. Ted and Alda were the parents of three sons, who are all still living: Gordon, Jack and Robert.
