This is a photograph overlooking the village of Rolfshagen that I took in January 1998, when I was fortunate enough to visit Angelika Schierhoelter. Over the years Angelika has helped Delores Lowe, Karen Rowe and me with our genealogical research in this part of Germany. In addiation, she has helped many families in America with ties to this part of Germany. She had researched the old addresses in the records and the new addresses so she knew where my relatives were born.
