This album has various photos pertaining to my great-great grandparents, Wilhelm and Minnie Siekmann nee Buethe and the area of Germany where they lived before emigrating to America in 1870.

I am fortunate that I have been able to travel to their homeland two times and have been able to photograph their homes and to personally meet a dear friend, Angelika Schierhoelter, whose help in my family history research has been invaluable.
