Obernkirchen is the larger city where Stifts Kirche is located. Stifts Evangelical Lutheran Church is where my Siekmann and Buethe families had to register and maintain their membership. It is over a mountain from the little village of Rolfshagen where they actually lived. The family's baptism, marriage, death and other records are in the old original books kept by this church.
