Careful study of the estate records indicates that James Stafford lived in Morgan County, Indiana during the settlement of the estate.  The other heirs who lived in Morgan County were Sterling, Benjamin and Andrew Stafford.  It is possible that James was living in one of their households or in the household of another relative, who lived in Morgan County.

The 1830 census for Robert Stafford's household shows a man 40-50 and a woman aged 20-30 with four minor males living in this household.  There is no minor female indicated in the 1830 household.  It is quite probable that Lydia Stafford was born after 01 June 1830.  Further evidence to support this conclusion is discussed on Lydia's page.

At this time, I have not found any additional documentation about this person.
