Genealogical research is conducted from the known to the unknown and from the present to the past. Presenting the genealogy in this fashion results in an Ancestor's report which does not keep the surnames separate. Due to the amount of information to be presented about my various ancestors I have chosen to separate the major surname lines and to work forward from the oldest to the youngest. This report will be a Descendant's report, but no numbering system will be used at this time since this website is a "work in progress."
Research concerning my Sieckmann ancestors has produced information for 8 generations. The pages will have a heading stating the generations. The Sieckmann Generations are labeled as follows:

- Generation 3 - Grandfather (Fred W.)
- Generation 4 - Great-Grandfather (Fred Sr.)
- Generation 5 - Great - Great - Grandfather (Wilhelm)
- Generation 6 - Great - Great - Great - Grandfather (Carl Heinrich)
- Generation 7 - Great - Great - Great - Great - Grandfather (Johann Friedrich)
- Generation 8 - Great - Great - Great - Great - Great - Grandfather (Weiland Johann Herman)
To navigate through the pages use the buttons above on the navigation bar. The generations are presented in reverse chronological order starting with Generation 8 - Weiland and continue across the bar ending with Generation 1 - Sharlene.
